Late Of The Pier to tour warehouses

Late Of The Pier have proclaimed a alone tour for October.

The banding, who consume just released their debut album 'Fantasy Black Channel', will headline a coiffure of gigs taking property in warehouses, clubs and even a skate ballpark across the UK.

Late Of The Pier will headline each show and there will be support from acts including , Digitalism, cocknbullkid and Micachu with more acts to be announced.

Dr. Drew: Addicted celebs need more time in rehab

LOS ANGELES —

Hollywood has a serious drug problem, and isn't committing the time it takes to fix it, according to Dr. Drew.

Not only are substances plentiful and socially acceptable in most celebrity circles, but stars who seek treatment often opt for abbreviated programs in exclusive environments, Drew Pinsky, host of radio's "Love Line" and VH1's "Celebrity Rehab," told The Associated Press.

Drew, who has studied what draws stars to drugs, presents his findings in the hourlong "VH1 News Presents: Dr. Drew's Celebrity Addiction Special," which airs Tuesday.

"Today, in the celebrity world, we're seeing an addiction epidemic," Pinsky said, adding that the disease of addiction is more deadly than cancer.

"If you had cancer, you would drop everything," he says. "You would take whatever time it needed to do the treatment and do what it takes to get out on the other side. Here's a disease that is more dangerous, and we can't get people to take three months."

These compound challenges give celebrity drug addicts a "bad prognosis," Pinsky told The Associated Press.

"I don't like treating celebrities," he said. "It's not a group I would seek out of a population I would necessarily treat as a separate goal because they're very, very difficult."

Photographers arrested after Spears chase

Four photographers have been arrested for reckless driving after chasing pop singer Britney Spears.
Police confirmed that the paparazzi were arrested on the outskirts of Los Angeles late last night.
Los Angeles police spokesperson Sara Faden said that the four were among a group of paparazzi seen driving at high speed on the trail of the singer.
Faden said: "Britney Spears was part of the group, but was not driving recklessly."

Originally conceived as a one-off collaborationism between Okkervil River's Will Sheff and Kingfisher's Jonathan Meiburg, Shearwater continues the tradition of detailed, incubation songwriting regulate by greco-Roman artists like Snick Drake and Dutch Leonard Cohen and present-day indie rock and roll songwriters such as Eyeshade Callahan and Testament Oldham. George Michael to reveal all

Singer Saint George Michael has signed a multi-million pound handle to write a "no holds barred" autobiography.
According to his publisher HarperCollins, the 44-year-old volition compose the book "completely himself", without a spook writer.
In what is being reported by the company as "one of the biggest ever so book deals", the former Whack! frontman has promised to reveal the the true about his turbulent personal life sentence and his life history, which has spanned over 25 years.
His manager Andy Stephens has said "George has promised HarperCollins a no-holds barred biography and it's certainly going to be that."
